BIO

Antonella Deletić (b. 1981, Senglea, Malta) is a contemporary painter based in Zeewolde, the Netherlands. Her work unfolds through an intuitive, layered process, primarily on burlap and linen. Drawn to texture, colour, and material presence, she allows each painting to develop slowly, accumulating quiet energy until a moment or story settles on the surface. While rooted in personal experience, her works remain open-ended, inviting viewers to project their own meanings and emotional landscapes.

In 2024, Deletić marked a significant shift in her practice with Breaking Karma, a milestone project in which she began translating deeply personal experiences into abstract visual language. This body of work reflects an ongoing exploration of inner transformation, impermanence, and resilience, approached through restraint, repetition, and material sensitivity.

Her work is held in private collections across Europe. Between 2022 and 2026, she has participated in group exhibitions, local shows, and art fairs, establishing herself as a thoughtful and evolving voice within contemporary abstract expressionism. Deletić works independently and seeks dialogue with galleries that value conceptual depth, material exploration, and art as a catalyst for reflection.
